wrong gallery title and path when creating new gallery

Hi I’m having a strange issue with the gallery since I moved the website from one hosting to another.
Everything is working great except for the fact that if I go to “Add Gallery / Images” from the wordpress menu and then I specify the gallery name (say “test”) chose some files and upload them, when i go to “Manage Galleries” I don’t find the gallery I’ve just added, but a new gallery with the name and path set exacty to the last gallery i created.
If for example the last gallery is “gallery 1” no matter what i write into the gallery name box i get a copy of “gallery 1” with the path set to “gallery-1-1” and my pictures in it.
If I press the “new gallery” button from the “manage galleries” screen and then add the pictures to the new created gallery everything works fine…
Everything was working fine before we switched host, i did a dump of the database from the hold host an reimported it in the new one, is there something that mus be manually reset or deleted or something?
