• I am trying to: Access to dashboard

    http://www.snackthy.com/wp-admin/

I expected to see: The dashboard

    Instead, I got:
Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on null in /home/yikcha1/snackthy.com/wp-includes/query.php on line 28

Sorry I am a beginner and using Dreamhost. It happens when I finish installing a plugin. How can I deactivate plugins without getting into dashboard? Anyone can help? Thank you very much

  • Do you have FTP access?

If so go to /wp-content/plugins then rename the plugin folder you installed that has caused the issue or delete it entirely.

I just had this same problem when I tried to install a plugin (clicked ‘INSTALL’). It NEVER installed so there is no folder set up for it in my host’s control panel file manager in order to delete it. I cannot access the log-in anymore and/or the WP dashboard when I was logged into it. I called my hosting company for support and even though the website is working fine, I cannot edit/add anything and they were no help.

I looked at the query.php in an editor but it was all ‘greek’. I had the support tech disable the current plugins but that had no effect. I emptied my computer cache. I turned off the computer, then unplugged it for a minute. Nothing helped. THEN I came to this forum. At this point I feel helpless and time is being wasted. Thank you to anyone that can solve this problem.
