well, you can’t – not without some hacking anyway.
They’re authors though, can’t they be trusted to find their own way? after all, they’re being trusted with adding content.
Maybe what you want isn’t really authors…. have a look at this it allows you to to accept posts from people who have no business in the admin panel.
