  • Hi there. Not David, obviously 🙂 but I thought I would help answer your question. This plugin does not allow you to upload to various folders under the uploads directory. I had asked a similar question at the end of a support post a while back (click here to read it) and wrote a blog entry about it, mentioning that another plugin used alongside this one, might be the answer (click here to read that one as well). I hope this helps.

Thanks for that Sharon. Did you ever manage to figure out how to upload to different folders under the primary uploads folder?

Sorry, I just realised that Media Library Plus makes that possible.

Thanks, Sri, for your question (never a bother). Thanks, Sharon, for your post and for linking to the earlier topic and your blog entry.

I think the earlier “How to map Image Date to Upload Date” topic sums up the current MLA functionality and my philosophy behind it. Although I do not plan to support non-standard folder structures I do want to be as compatible as possible with other plugins that do. If you run into any problems with MLA/Media Library Plus or other combinations, let me know and I will do what I can.

I am marking this topic resolved because the question has been answered. Thanks for your interest in the plugin.
