I really do mean this in the most courteous way, hopefully it will help you. The way you have marked up your index.php is so far from the default, and so far from the way many folk here might be inclined to do it, that it is inevitably going to limit our understanding of what is happening, and may restrict the number of folks able to assist. Hopefully someone will be along shortly.
What do you mean by “marked up?” The template was custom designed. Is that what you mean? And I’ve added sidebar items. Is that it?
