Disabling Google Authenticator for certain user levels
-
Hi Henrik Schack,
Thanks for this nice Google Authenticator plugin which helps in securing my website, and also thanks to Ian Dunn for the addon “Per User Prompt” plugin which segregates the login and GA prompt screen.
My request is very similar to what Skate-O had in the below link:
Basically, for non-admin users, when they login to their profile page, they see the Google Authenticator settings (even if GA is inactive). As Admin, I want to hide these GA settings in all users’ profile page (except admin) by default, unless I give them an option. I would like some kind of switch in the Admin GA settings, where I can turn on/off if I want to show or hide GA settings in the profile pages of all users at a certain level (both existing and future users), instead of doing it individually for each user.
I understand Henrik shared a customized version of GA with Skate-O to resolve it. It would be even better if he can incorporate this feature in the GA plugin update for the benefit of all WP users.
Thanks a lot in advance,
Best,
Ambuj
