I saved my main blog page in the same directory as WP so I could come back and finish it the next day. The ability to make any changes are nil, it is locked up.

How can I delete what I have and start over? I have deleted the page from my server and also the theme. When trying another theme and clicking ‘view site’ I still get the same page.

    Thanks for any help.

I’m very confused by your nomenclature, but want to help you. Are you having problems with POSTING (creating/editing blog entries) or changing themes? And when you say you “have deleted the page from [your] server” what “page” are you talking about?

Maybe a link to your site would help.

I was in the process of making changes to the theme. I deleted the links that were in ‘Blogroll’ so I could put my own and the response was that I was successful in doing so. When I clicked to view my site there was no change. After that I haven’t been able to change anything.

I decided to just change themes, but when I do and then view my site there is no change. It appears to be locked up. I saved the page so perhaps I could work on it the next day. I put it in the same directory as WP (which is a sub-directory). This is when I deleted the page and the theme hoping to be able to use another theme but all I get when I click to view my site is the same page.

    My site is http://www.stevehulldrawings.com/blog

Well, the blogroll appears to still be there. When I clicked on the link to your site, it seemed like it was taking IE a looong time to load the page and I couldn’t click in the address bar for quite some time, as if something was loading behind the scenes. Hmm. This is an odd one. I would have suggested clearing your browser’s cache, but since I see the blogroll links, doesn’t look like they were changed at all. You might want to reupload fresh files and see if that helps.

Jonimueller, thank you very much….I did as you suggested and it worked! I can now either start over with the same theme or go with another one.

I worked on this same template as a site hosted by WP but it bothers me knowing that I can have a blog on my server. Anyway, I noticed that when I loaded a widget on the sidebar…that everything that was there already disappeared, so I will try that.

Thanks again…you have taken a load off!
