redirect not working

So I setup a simple redirect:

http://www.jacobrfranklin.com/wordpress -> http://www.jacobrfranklin.com

(since I’m getting some weird traffic to the /wordpress link when I don’t even use it)

But nothing changed. I still get an Oops! Page not found! (404 I assume) error.

I thought it could be one of my other plugins so I disabled them all but it still didn’t work.

Any ideas what is wrong?
