admin menu toggle button does not collapse and shows blank screen.

    I need quick help. Please go through the issue once if any one faced similar issue earlier.
    Its strange. Issue appears when we open admin menu on android browser or on android mobile app which uses webview internally.
    A toggle button which expands/collapses the admin menu, does not work. steps of issue are as follows

    1. when we do first click, admin menu appears and it works fine.
    2. but when we click the TOGGLE button again to close/collapse admin menu, it does not rather it shows white or black screen in browser or in android app.
    3. if we click on again at same point on mobile screen where exactly toggle button was placed, screen reappears.
    4. I also noticed it happens only for portrait layout.
    5. it works fine for chrome.

    Please let me know if any one has some idea or faced similar issue?

    All plugins are disable and removed. So no specific plugin is installed.

    Could you check the javascript console in Chrome or Firefox and tell me if it shows any errors?

    Thanks to respond.
    I tried with chrome and firefox and it works fine. Issue appears with Android app using webview to display html pages and other mobile browsers on android.

    Hey Gaurav,

    Which other android browsers did you try out? It could be a browser specific issue on your version of android. Which version of android are you running and which browsers are you testing it on? There might be known issues for the versions of software you’re running.

    Now it seems like the browsers you are using are not working properly with some javascript or css files. Maybe because the software you are using is rather outdated. But this is just a guess.

    Problem resolved after upgrading android sdk and jquery.
