Navigation Help –

Hi – we just launched the all new http://timothysykes.com/
Here’s my question – if you look to the right, you’ll see the navigation and a little grey update box besides each item.

I’ve automated most of them, except for TIMwrites. Is there anyway, a php code perhaps, to automate the TIMwrites number by the number of new posts written daily? Right now you’ll see “3 New” – but that is just hard coded.

Any help in this would be mucho appreciated.
