Events Listing Ascending?

I am using the Events Manager plugin and have a shortcode of the following:

[events_list scope="past"]

#_EVENTLINK #_EVENTDATES

[/events_list]

but I want the list to show the latest date first, the default is oldest first – how can I change this?
