I am using C-panel and have my css database correctly configured. I have uploaded the folder of WordPress files (all of them) on the Root level and when I try to install WP by going to http://www.my website name.com/blog/wp-admin/install.php, I get the message: Not Found
The requested URL /blog/wp-admin/install.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

My server said that I don’t have the wp-admin folder uploaded and to upload all of the WP files. I have downloaded WordPress 2.5.1 twice and there is no folder named wp-admin.

Can anyone help me on this matter?

Ummm.. Yes, there is. It’s in the ZIP file, along with everything else.

Use an unzip program that knows about folders.

Otto42…..you are absolutely correct! Another Unzip program did the trick and I am now ready to attempt to install WordPress.

I thank you so much for the help…..I would never have thought to do so.
