Removing Post and replies altogether

    I am using WordPress with Wampserver. I am creating web pages only and have no need for any posts or replies. I am currently using the 2015 theme and a post shows up above the home page. Every other menu works fine (home, about, gallery, authur and owner(except for the that shows up above home. I don’t want it there but cannot seem to remove it. Thanks in advance for your help!

    You can delete posts from the dashboard under POSTS

    If you want to disable comments completely, use the plugin “disable comments”. I use it on lots of sites.

    What do you mean “a post shows up above the home page”?
