Media Button Not Working | WordPress.org

I am trying to create a new blog post, but the media button is not working. It’s not working on old posts either. All I want to do is add photos to my blog, a typically very simple task. I searched the forum and found solutions, but all were highly technical. Will you please provide ideas or solutions for someone with WP basics?

Have you tried:
-deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
-switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

I have the same problem. My “Media” button and my “Edit [for the URL]” button don’t work.

Does it give you an error message? Or does it just … you click the button and nothing happens?

@kmessinger thank you, thank you. I was using too many plugins so I’m weeding out the ones I need. I am able to upload media thanks to your help. Much appreciation!!
