I installed EDD, configured it, made css changes, but I cannot figure out how to do these two things:

First, I cannot remove the personal email address that shows up in the “email” field on the Checkout page when I work on the site and view it. I found the “value” parameter with Firebug, but I don’t know how to change it. How can I permanently stop this email address value from showing up in the email field?

Second, I csannot find the css, even in the edd.min.css file, to change the “color” tage in First Name and Last Name fields on the Checkout page. Where is the css or setting that allows me to change the text color of these fields.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

  • 1. The email address is pre-filled only if you are logged in already. Logged out users will not see an email address pre-filled.

    2. EDD does not include any CSS to define the color of those elements. You can go ahead and add custom CSS to your theme or a Custom CSS plugin to adjust those.

Well, thank you so much for the tip on the email address. Saved me hours.
While we’re here, if it’s pre-filled, how can I change the address to another one?

Again, thank you so much for your most gracious help.

It’s pre-filled based on the address that is set on your WordPress user profile.
