Custom Users For Services and Customers

My current site I am building on WordPress to have user login and registration for businesses and customers. The site is for pet owners and pet related services. I would like pet owners to create a user profile. Businesses especially to post there services on our site. I would like to know of a plugin that can work. Would buddy press be a good plugin to work with? Any ideas would help I am under a tight deadline.
