• I received an email stating this this afternoon I’m not sure what this means * File contains suspected phishing URL: /home1/lorralisa/public_html/wp-content/plugins/easy-fancybox/readme.txt
    http//al-babdar.net/

What do I need to do to fix my issue? Thanks I run a small blog, I have no-one but me to do it.

  • Hello backwoodsbedroom,
did it say http//al-babdar.net/ or did it say http://al-badar.net? Either way you need to contact the author of that plugin (Easy Fancybox) and ask them to remove the link from their code. Google safe browsing lists it as a dangerous URL.

The second one. I went into my dashboard and changed the file to previous state. Should that fix the issue?

No. When you update the plugin the file will be updated again. As long as the plugin file contains that URL Wordfence is going to warn you that there is a bad URL in the file.
