Howdy Lizzie,
I would love to help you with this.
You can edit the slug/URL for the events page in WP-Admin > Events > Settings. However when I view the URL you shared I am seeing your calendar, not a 404. Did you perhaps get it working already?
Cheers!
– Brook
Hi Brook,
Thanks for your note. The Events page itself is working but when you click back to ALL EVENTS on a single event, it goes to 404 – example here: http://www.wcmconcerts.org/event/the-cooperage-concert/
Let me know your thoughts,
Lizzie
Hey Lizzie,
I see what you mean! It looks like the ‘/’ in [your-site]/events is missing from that link, which is causing the 404.
I wasn’t able to replicate the issue when testing in a fresh WordPress installation with the Twenty Sixteen theme active and no other plugins installed, except for The Events Calendar. Are you still able to see the issue in those conditions as well?
Thanks!
Geoff
Hi Geoff, I just did a site redesign – new theme (solid theme) and thought I wouldn’t have this issue anymore. Did a fresh install and here I am again with the / missing… what is going on? Help! Thanks for anything further.
Here’s what it offers me for my slug:
http://www.wcmconcerts.org2017-season/ – obviously I want it to say http://www.wcmconcerts.org/2017-season/ but there’s no way to edit that….
I might be easiest to find out which file this / can be added to in the back-end? I can do it manually then. Thanks for any guidance.

Hey @hobbituk,
Thanks for using The Events Calendar, I’m happy to help! In order to help, I would like to get some more information from you, if I can:
-First, if you could please test for conflicts by following this documentation? Let me know what you find. This will help me determine how deeply we need to look into the specific configuration of your site, or if this is a bug. π
-Can you send me a link to your site so I can see this firsthand? I tried navigating to your site, but I got a “coming soon” type of page, and I’d love to check this out in a live environment so I can be more helpful.
Thanks!

Hi @shelbelliott
Thanks for your message. If you could send me a direct email, I can send you the login for my site, but it’s not ready to go live until I sort out the ticketing situation.
I’ll try to follow your linked documentation in the meantime. Thanks again for your help.
Elizabeth
@shelbelliott, sorting out the plugins worked. I can now access the events page, however, now no events are showing up in my feed. Is there something I need to do when putting new events on my Eventbrite in order to get them to show up on the WordPress app? Thanks for your help!
EB
Hi @Shelbelliot or someone else who might work with this plugin, any ideas why my current events are NOT showing up on my WordPress site plugin? Thanks, EB
Hi @lizziebowgirl,
I’m not quite sure I understand what you mean in your comments above. As you mentioned before, perhaps you could give us access to your development site so I can have some more context? You can do this by emailing support@theeventscalendar.com and mention that it’s for me, and include the url for this thread please!
Best,
Shelby π
