Filter on Non-Product Page

Hello,
I would like to utilize the filter on our homepage, which does not have any products listed. Ideally, users would select their preferred criteria on the homepage, click ‘filter’, and be taken into the shop page which would show only products that meet their selected criteria.

Is this possible with this plugin? I’m relatively confident with low-level programming, so if it takes some tweaking on my end I can definitely implement it, just need a bit of guidance!!
