No password protection

Hi,

we have a training site where students can download courses and we are having problems with password protected downloads. The site allows everybody to download with out asking for the password, even though we have establised the downloads as password protected ans assigned passwords to them. The sign “protected” appears, but the system does not ask for the password to download.

We use LearnPress, but the problem goes beyond the plugin. We are starting to think it might be the theme, with is Costumize Child.

Anyone else have this problem? Suggestions on how to solve it?
