Make front page show only most recent posts

    Hi, I’m using the Kubrick default theme. Without using any plugins, I’d like to know how make the home page show only the most recent posts. Right now, it loads everything ever posted (and this takes a long time to load). Upon going to my blog, I’d like it to automatically show only the most recent posts. (like, say, the last 5 posts)

    go to options or settings depending on the version you are using–reading and from there you can set how many posts the first page should show.
