How exactly are you linking to these images? I noticed that the link is malformed (an extra trailing /).
Sorry Esmi for my ignorance, I’m not sure what you mean. I normally just upload the image and that’s it. I’ve not changed anything
I’m not sure what an extra trailing is
Can we see the site using the default theme with all plugins deactivated?
I’m not sure what an extra trailing is
Try examining the links for one of these images. There’s a / at the end that should definitely not be there.
Ok so, I’ve deactivated all plugin and activated the default theme
Still got that trailing /. Can you try setting your custom permalinks back to the default setting via Settings -> Permalinks?
Nothing is changing, still the same
Sorry – at this point we’re pretty much trying to rule out various culprits.
That extra / is still present. Without changing anything, can you check what is entered for the two urls in Settings -> General?
That looks fine too.
Can you access your WordPress .htaccess file? You’ll need to use FTP or whatever file management application your host provides. Just ensure that whatever you use is configured to show all files as .htaccess files are often hidden by default.
Is that in the control panel, under file manager. I see .htaccess and .htaccess05252013 and other files such as wp-login
Just the .htaccess file. can you view it or download it, open it in a text editor and post the content here?
# BEGIN WordPress
# END WordPress
That’s all it says
