[Plugin: ??] Looking for a plugin which opens lightbox gallery from link

Hello, I hope I do not violate any forum rules. If that’s the case, please let me know. Also I’m not a english native speaker, so please excuse any spelling or grammar errors.

What I am looking for: I am using wordpress on a local server and I am trying to find a plugin which enables a lightbox gallery after clicking a link. Also the images that should be shown in the gallery are in a local folder. So basically I click a link with the adress of the folder and then a lightbox gallery opens with all the images that are stored in the folder.

What I have so far: I found the plugin Folder Gallery, which is what I’m looking for, almost, but it works with thumbnails and I don’t want any thumbnails. I was thinking about using an onclick()-event in the a-tag, but I’m not quite sure how.
