Hi, I have many pages under certain folders.
I think it is not necessary for users to access database every time.
So I want to create static pages in advance.
    Can wordpress do it?

  • Have you considered using a caching plugin?

Consider optimise database plugin and cache plugin instead of creating multiple static pages.

But you can create static home page stand alone and create other pages in the WordPress.

What about WP Super Cache ?
I do not know how WP Super Cache work to let users not access db for those pages never updated.

    I have 1000 pages under folder cat001
All of them will not be updated for many years.
So I do not want db be accessed when any user access to these pages.

    Hello flatworld21
Every time creation of static page is not perfect way.You can try caching plugins also to minimize database interaction.
