This is something I have been considering and somebody else recently asked me for it too. I’ll bump it to one of the next areas I focus on. Would you want all the back-end admin text set up for translation, or just the front-facing user display?
Hi Chris,
just the front end would be fine.
There not so much text involved, so I can do it manually, but as you are still improving this plugin (which is great by the way), I tend to forget this after an update.
Thanks!
I’ve just added 1.15.0 which has the beginnings of language support. It also fixes the admin warning messages you were seeing.
I know there are 3 messages in a javascript file that may still show when a file is being uploaded.
I did test it, but please let me know if I missed anything.
Chris
Looks like I didn’t quite do the localisation correctly. I’ll need to push an update. It’s my first time with this. I’ll update this later when I have it working.
I’ve noticed a few issues with the WordPress Plugins repository this morning (it seems to be delayed). Can you please delete the plugin and then add it new again?
Unfortunately it’ll have to wait till tomorrow, I must be getting off to work now. I’ll let you know as soon as I have tested reinstalling.
Hi Chris,
plugin works okay, but I don’t see any changes in the backend as far as language /translation options is concerned. Am I overlooking something? I’m not too familiair with translations..
Hi Marion
If you can provide the Dutch translations here – I can then incorporate them into the plugin.
As long as your WordPress installation is set to Dutch (nl) the plugin will then translate the front-end text accordingly.
Dank je!
Chris
Hi Chris, it’s done!
If you want me to translate the backend as well, I’ll be glad to help.
I may take you up on that in the future. For now, I’ve collated your translations and published an update to the plugin containing them.
Thanks 🙂
Hi Chris, it works! You’re brilliant 😉
Thanks so far.
