Trying to Create an Attendance list.

i am trying to create a page where i can enter a list of employee names that are static, and where a receptionist could go to the page and there would be a button or something next to their name that she could click if they are in or out off the office.

here is kinda what i was thinking without the button or other object. i would want the In to have it color changed to green when that option is selected and for out to be red when that option is selected.

John Doe [IN] [OUT]

i would want the person to be able to click the in or out or if need be another object that correlates to the in/out that they can interact with and will show to other users that access the page. so we know who is in the office.

i am a super novice at this, looked for a plugin but could not find one. running the latest version of WP, with WOffice theme.
