    Hello,

First of all, lovin’ your plugin!

I have the requirement of adding a select dropdown to check whether the ship to location is within 30km radius of a city. I know the best way to check the distance is probably the Woocommerce Distance rate Shipping plugin, but my client can’t afford that. Would it be possible to add a select dropdown after the user has selected the city that we offer free shipping, says “Within 30km radius of the city?” – “Yes.” or “No”. If user clicks “no”, it will revert to the flat fee.

    Keep rockin’!

    Hi,

Glad to hear you love the plugin 🙂

Adding a shipping option is not something this plugin is designed to do..

It could be done via a code snippet, Woo has explained that a bit here: https://docs.woothemes.com/document/tutorial-customising-checkout-fields-using-actions-and-filters/

For my other plugin (paid at $17) I have a custom script available that allows you to setup conditions based on custom checkout fields.

That might fit your needs, yet still not ideal as it depends on the user input..

Another possibility might be to look for other distance shipping plugins that are made by other developers, sometimes they are priced lower then WT.

    Hope that helps 🙂

    Have a great day!
