• I’m now using Mailpoet to send my latest blog posts to my subscribers, my issue is I would like the emails to show the posts images but they do not show in the email message. I use “Postie” to submit my posts to my blog attaching any number of images to the email I send to post in my blog, Postie has the facilty to create thumbnails of the full size images which is good and works fine. My previous “email posts” plugin would include these thumbnails in the email messages sent to each subscriber, but “Mailpoet” does not display any of the images however many images I attach to the post. If anybody can assist with this it would make my subscriber emails a lot better as at present until the link is clicked to see the actual blog entry on the web there is no way of knowing if there are any images to view. Thanks in advance. My blog; Here

  • Hi,

If you add the images to your posts directly, the images should display just fine. The issue is probably related to the other plugins that you’re using to add the images.

I will bypass Postie that I email my posts with and try an ADD post within my dashboard and see what happens to the images in the post. Will update here when done/tested. Thing is the alternative plugin that Emails Subscribers attaches the images with no problem even submitting the posts with postie, I switched to Mailpoet because that other plugin would not auto send the email post updates. Thanks

Test run from my dashboard, it sort of works but not how I want it to. Only the first image is attached and visible in the email message. With the first plugin I used, (the one that will not auto send) the email contained all the images as thumbnails on clicking any thumbnail in the email message the web blog post image would open full size. So the reason I would like my email messages of my latest post to work this way is so that some of my subscribers are happy enough to just look at the email thumbnails and do not bother to click anything in the email message to open the web blog post itself or its images. If this is not possible I will have to look for an alternative plugin that will a) show all images as thumbnails and b) Auto send to all subscribers when the new post is published.

    Hi,

Unfortunately that is not possible with MailPoet.

    Thanks!
