• Is there a way to remove the version of the plugin from the output source. Currently is shows…..

    <!– Fast Secure Contact Form plugin 4.0.41 – begin – FastSecureContactForm.com –>

Would prefer to see <!– Fast Secure Contact Form plugin – begin – FastSecureContactForm.com –>

Even better to see <!– Contact Form – begin –>

I suggest this for security reasons.

  • Hi, as far as I know the only way to remove that code from the plugin is going through any PHP file that has the plugin version added. Unless you find a plugin that allows you to remove the plugin version from the HTML code produced in a web page.

That is correct. It is easy to update for one site, but since I use and maintain numerous sites I was hoping to have an option in the plugin or even better to just remove it completely.

Hi, unfortunately there is no option in the plugin to remove the version. There are security plugins in WordPress repository that will achieve that.

If your question is answered and you don’t need any more help, can you mark this support thread as resolved.

    Thank you
