Wordfence – image links gone

I have been working on my site today and then installed Wordfence plugin. It recommended I select basic caching (now I’m no expert so I have no idea what this is for). When I refreshed my screen all links were gone.
When I went back into the pages, the theme (Divi) said I had to clear the cache(?) so I did. Now I can’t see any images on my home page or portfolio. All images and pages are still there in my dashboard but they are not visible.
Any suggestions?
Oh and I don’t have a backup unfortunately so I cannot install a most recent.
