Popup before download

    I have a hyperlink on a page that is meant to download a PDF file. However, when the site visitor clicks on the hyperlink I want a popup to appear that says something like ” you are about to download a form, if you need any help contact etc etc etc” The site visitor will then click on another link in the popup which downloads the PDF .

    Can anyone suggest how I can do that?

    You could try the GC Message Box, link below. It’s claim is for email subs but it can also be used for downloads and other stuff. Might be worth looking into. Most to lose is some time. I use it and it works great for both on my site. There are other plugins to for download, etc popups. Do a search on WP Plugins for “popup” or “downloads” or the like. If it works for you, let us know here.
