We’ve covered sorting. Has the disappearing data issue resolved itself?

The plugin updated 2 days ago and I lost my entire roster. What do I do to recover?

First, don’t worry, your data is still in the database.

What version where you running, and what version did you upgrade to?

4.0.1 but I have disabled that and reinstalled 4.0 but I can not get the data back. Please help. Its been down 3 days now.

you mentioned the data is still in the database… but I’ve restored a backup from 2-3 days prior when the players were visable. But the plugin is still not rendering the roster. If I knew which table in the database to work with I might be able to get the data back.

Updating/reinstalling the plugin does not change the data. I would not mess with the WP database because you could clobber your whole site. I have been in the air most of the weekend. I will dig deeper when I get back to my desk Tuesday.

That’s weird. Okay, so when you say:

the plugin is not rendering the roster

    what does that mean exactly?

Can you see the players, teams, anything on the Admin side? Can you see the shortcodes on the front end? Or neither?

Do you have debugging enabled? If so, what do you see in your error.log file in /wp-content?? If you don’t have debugging installed, do so. (You can find articles on that all over the web, like https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress.) Then activate the plugin and see if anything is in the file.
