Using same domain as a subdomain | WordPress.org

I have a site with 3 languages and they are all on a different domain. I want to add a another language, but I don’t want to use a different domain on this language.

Is it possible to achieve this by using different domain option? If it’s not possible, then what’s the correct way to do this?

Example:

https://defaultdomain.com
https://defaultdomain.com/language
https://2ndsite.com
https://3rdsite.com

You can create a subdomain like this on your hosting account and you will not have to add another domain for this new language.

mynewlang.defaultdomain.com

However, this is not a scalable and robust solution for a multi-site.
There is a possibility to have a multi-site setup with different domains within a single WP installation. You will need to use a multilingual plugin and this is a good option
