Text encoding problems “didn’t” becomes “didn’t”

    “didn’t” becomes “didn’t” in posts after I upgraded. It’s the way I saved the db when upgrading. Any way to fix this?

    Sorry, don’t know what I went from to what it is now.

    Manual.

    Downloaded WP 2.3.2 db via phpMyAdmin, uploaded and restored db via phpMyAdmin, then ran the WP 2.5 software.

    The text encoding problem happened somewhere in the db download.

    That usually (but not always) is caused by having a character encoding conflict – check under your Settings >Reading – UTF-8 is what is generally recommended.

    Check also your Theme’s header.php file to be sure it matches that…..
