Can not set-up Plugin — General Settings Tab Missing

Thanks for the follow-up. As the issue title says: I cannot set up the plugin – largely because the plugin settings do not match the instructions.

I’ve tried, unsuccessfully, to follow the instructions on the WordPress.org UpiCRM plugin page and on the UpiCRM docs page (http://www.upicrm.com/docs/). Both of these refer to performing critical setup operations on the non-existent General Settings tab. The plugin is sufficiently complex that it’s difficult to figure out the correct setup process without assistance or corrected instructions.

Can you summarize the correct setup process?

Just following-up to say that the video was marginally helpful. I was able to get the plugin set up after a couple hours of tinkering with the settings. I also had problems adding users and getting them to show up in UniCRM; but was finally able to do so after going back to the WordPress plugin install page and noticing a statement near the bottom of the page that referred to setting UpiCRM roles in the general WordPress user management pages vs doing so in UpiCRM. Setting the UpiCRM roles on the WordPress user edit page worked immediately — compared to multiple failed attempts to set them in UpiCRM Users Center.

Net-net: You have a great plugin; but it is being hindered by out of date/incorrect documentation. I think it would be helpful to update the written instructions.
