  • You need to give more details.
Are you adding html code to the visaul editor? That’s a big NO-NO!
Are you adding code to “format” your posts or are you publishing html code snippets as “illustration” to some technical posts?

    Hi

basically im making boxes (html) to hold my information for the posts.

    see http://www.ukmma.org

each post had boxes around the text to separate the information then suddenly they disappeared.

hope this is enough information for you 🙂

    [long code moderated]

Don’t post long code here – nobody reads it…

As I said above: if the wysiwyg/visual editor is completely turned off (not just switching between code/visual!!!) the WP never alters your code. For sure it doesn’t mess up mine.

how do i does this turning the visual editor off?

Ive tried lots of things sometimes it works then when i re edit the post the boxes disappear again

this is proving to be a ball ache 🙁

ok mate that seems to have sorted it on the front page

but if you look on the archive section the boxes arent showing

could this be when i wrote the post the visual editor was on ?

Give a link to that “archive section”.

http://www.ukmma.org its in the right hand sidebar near the top of the page

I meant give a direct link to the “page” where your boxes don’t show.

That’s called monthly archives (month 02/Feb of 2003) and yes, it is very likely that those posts were saved while the wysiwyg monster was enabled… so you will have to rewrite them.
