    Hi all,

First time messaged on here. This problem is starting to drive me mad!

OK, so I have updated and disabled all my plugins to make sure was not this. I have checked the functions.php, footer.php, page.php, single.php – well any php file I could find (both parent and child). I have checked no menus are set in the footer, checked customize and theme options.

Lets go back, I had the site fully up and running but due to needing to update the text in the footer. I did all above and in the end got so fed up looking for where the text is hidden I took all the files off via FTP and deleted databases and wordpress and started from scratch to check was not something stupid.

Now I have the same text, I have cleared cache and restarted router in case was showing from previous site. Still there. This is now starting to get annoying – can anyone help with where the text may be stored and how to get rid of.

The site is http://www.shootingstarwebdesign.co.uk and I am using Vantage Premium as my parent theme.

    Many thanks
    Mike

  • Hi Mike

    Thanks for reaching out.

So to confirm, that text isn’t at Appearance > Theme Settings > Site Information Text, near the bottom? If it isn’t there then I can only imagine it’s in footer.php in your child or parent theme.

If the above doesn’t help, please, feel free to email us so we can get a set of login details. You’re a premium user so it’s ok to move this over to email if you want.

Please, see the following page: https://siteorigin.com/support/. Our email address is listed there. We’re standing by to assist and take a look. Thanks 🙂
