Hey @speedi626 – we just released v2.1.43 a few hours ago, could you update and try creating a new gallery and let me know if the issue persists or if it’s resolved?

Hello everyone and Hi @photocrati
I tried creating a new gallery with v2.1.43 and now everything seems to work fine, but how can we manage to get all the “old” galleries with accents working?
The plugin update unfortunately is not effective with previus galleries that have accents or & or other symbols. I am also thinking that it’s not even just the gallery’s name but also the single images name: if the photos have these kind of symbols or letter they do not work, even if the gallery is named correctly.

the gallery does not have special letters or symbols but the images included in the gallery do. They all have a – ù – symbol.
Hope this helps and I hope an update can get all the already existing galleries to work again.

@gotrek79 – Try going back into each gallery you are having issues with under Gallery > Manage Galleries and clicking the “Save Changes” button. If this does not sort out the issue please start your own topic so we can try to help you with your specific issue on your specific site.

@photocrati – -I managed to realize what it is, and I will immediately start my own topic: it’s not the name of the galleries it’s actually the name of the single photos that aer included in the gallery: if there’s a photo with a strange symbol, it won’t open.
