Hello floatingkitch,
if you look on Wordfence page “Blocked IPs” do you see any blocks there?
It says no IP addresses have been blocked yet.
Do you have Falcon caching under (Wordfence “Performance Setup”) turned on?
Falcon caching is disabled. I believe this is the default?
Everything is set up as it always has been. But I’m still not seeing any blocking. Seems very strange.
Hello again,
I agree, it seems strange. Are you seeing traffic coming in via Wordfence Live Traffic feed?
When I click on “Live Traffic” it says “Live activity is disabled: login and firewall activity will still appear below”. If I check some of the tabs on that page under “Filter Traffic”, it looks like the last time something was blocked was April 20. I can see though, for example, that I successfully logged in this morning.
If I click on “Firewall” it says it’s firewall status: disabled. Should that be turned on?
Under “Scan”, it does show that it’s been scanning.
It sounds like Wordfence is working then. If you go to Wordfence “Options” page, is “Enable Live Traffic View” disabled?
You can turn the Firewall on if you like but you should be seeing Live Traffic whether the Firewall is on or not.
It was disabled. I clicked to enable live traffic view and I can see it in real time now.
Ok great. Maybe another admin has changed the settings? You might want to look over all settings then there on the “Options” page to tweak them so that you are blocking what you want to block.
