WP Super cache is hard to setup with OpCache enabled
-
So if you switch from caching off to caching on and you have opcache enabled it takes 60 seconds (default opcache setting) before the plugin”knows” it’s activated. This also applied to enabling mod_rewrite. This makes it very hard to setup. You basically have to wait 60 seconds before pressing the apply mod_rewrite rules. Else nothing happens. On the same host W3totalcache does not have this problem and can write directly to htaccess without waiting.
