When editing a board event, the start/end times advance by 5 hours when clicking on “Update”.

Example: If I set an event to start on Tues at 7pm, after it is saved it will display a start time of Wed at 12am in the edit screen. Exiting out of the edit screen the event shows the time as initially set. If I go to the edit, the edit screen times advance another 5 hours.

As noted, the end display of times is correct, but the editing screen is bit confusing.

Thanks for reaching out @wthyde. This is an odd issue and definitely one we haven’t seen before. I just tried to replicate the problem you’re having with no luck.

    A couple of questions:

    • Would it be possible for you to disable other plugins and switch to the default theme? Then can you create a new event and see if the issue still occurs? This will rule out anything else conflicting with the plugin.
    • Have you changed the “Timezone” setting on the General Settings page anytime recently?
    • Was there any point in time that this was working for you? If so, has anything changed on the site since that time?

    Thanks a ton.

    Hi Jonathan,

I am unable to reproduce it now as well. All seems well after editing several past events and 2 future. It might have been a conflict from another plugin, or some gremlins visiting my server.

Might as well mark this as resolved 😉

Haha, thanks for the update Bill. From now on I’m going to blame gremlins for any issues we have with our plugins.

Good luck with plugin and don’t hesitate to let us know if any other questions come up.
