text missing from mobile, div spacing

I’m hoping someone has encountered a similar issue and has a fix. Here’s the problem:

I’ve placed text within the gallery and while all looks good on desktop, same text does not display on mobile. Text appears on mobile only after having hovered or clocked on it. Is there a simple css fix for this?

Also, does anyone know if the space below banners can be reduced through the custom css feature in the theme? Additionally, can the space above banner be increased the same way?
