@dmitrybedn,
Course tiles are, essentially, the LifterLMS equivalent of a regular WordPress blog excerpt that you would find on your posts archive page.
You can upload your images as the featured image for the course and that will display on the tile.
If you need help getting started with course creation take a look at a quick demo at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EVib9y_e6b4
Any other questions just let us know.
Take care,
@dmitrybedn,
Marking as resolved since we haven’t heard from you in over a week.
If you need anything further please reply and reopen.
Take care,
hello sir, apologies for the delay.
no success so far, i’m uploading an image to the course description box but it doesn’t get integrated into a course tile – just an empty frame with a watermark and a course name underneath.
in the video you gave there is a nice picture already in there as a course tile. the process is skipped though.
could there be a problem with the site theme? i use frontier.
Thank you in advance
and i use the Excerpt plug-in too
@dmitrybedn,
As I noted you need to upload your course tile image as the Course’s “Featured Image”

Speaking of the course tiles, is there anyway to change the format of the course displays, so it isn’t tiles layout? I’m trying to figure out how I can create my courses page with a list display like a regular WordPress blog, if that makes sense.
@john Neal,
We don’t have any predefined layout methods for the course archive at this moment, however we’ve had many users customize this layout through a combination of custom CSS and theme overrides for our default templates.
You can view our documentation on theme overrides at https://lifterlms.com/docs/lifterlms-templates/
Hope that helps and let me know if you have any additional questions,
i’ve nailed it finally) thanks for your patience
@dmitrybedn, Glad to hear!
@john Neal, you’re welcome!
Marking this as resolved. If anyone needs anything further just ask!
