WordPress notifications about https version of sites with no SSL certificates

Hi
I am getting notifications from WordPress saying that it has updated the https version of my websites when no SSL certificates are installed. I am getting similar notifications from Updraft Plus plugin stating that it has backed up https version of sites when, again, no certificates are installed. When I click on the link to the sites that are mentioned I get ‘Your connection is not secure’ and the ‘The owner of http://www.[mydomain] has configured their website improperly’. All of the sites in question appear to be functioning as they should and, to the best of my knowledge, are configured correctly. Can anyone shed any light on this issue and whether it will cause SEO and backup restoring issues?
