  • Hey,

go to wp dashboard – settings – languages – settings and click on the url modifications.

first of all mark – The language is set from the directory name in pretty permalinks

and then mark Hide URL language information for default language and Remove /language/ in pretty permalinks and The front page url contains the language code instead of the page name or page id

    and that should work.

HI. I followed these instructions. They worked to solve my initial problem, but resulted in a new problem. Now, after following these instructions, a secondary menu location has bene populated with a list of pages. These pages are not organized into any proper WordPress menu in the admin dashboard – so I am unclear where this selection of pages came from or why the menu I explicitly selected for the secondary menu location is not being loaded. If I disable this plugin, the expected secondary menu loads and this list of random pages no longer displays.
