I have no idea if this has to do with the new version of the theme or if there is another reason, but some images on my site are distorted: I made a screenshot of the effect and of how it should be: https://www.dropbox.com/s/op14o3uojnz011y/distorted-images.pdf?dl=0

The promblem is solved when I refresh the front page, but not every visitor will do so. I would like to know how te prevent this. I alreadey tried regenerate thumbnails, and emptying cache on serverside, but this does not solve the problem.

    Anyone any clue?

Hi Marion. Is that in every browser or just IE?

Hi bdbrown, I think it’s just Microsoft Edge. In Firefox and Chrome (which I normally use) it seems allright.

Here’s another post on the same issue. When I checked his site I didn’t see the problem:

Could you check my site please? It’s http://www.regieraadtechniek.nl/
It’s tthe second large picture on the home pagge, but sometimes also other pictures are affected (like in the sidebar).

I just checked your site in Chrome, FF and Edge. Didn’t see any problems in any of them; the second image looked normal in all three browsers.

So I suppose it must be a Microsoft issue… Thanks for helping, I’ll try to find out if the problem is an Edge-thing.

I have the same problem using Hueman v3.1.3 with a simple Child Theme. It only appears in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10, but it works in Microsoft Edge on Windows 10 Mobile.

progressive jpeg (interlaced) images seem to be not affected. I’m not an expert, but probably it has something to do with the way how the browser reserves the space on the display?
