Beaver page builder unresponsive

    I’ve been using the Beaver builder pluggin since December on my website. It has been a complete life saver however since cleaning up and deleting unused pluggins Beaver page builder no longer functions at all. When I click on page builder the page opens but the drop down menu and all other buttons are unresponsive. Ive turned all the other pluggins off except for page builder but it makes no difference. Is there any depended pluggins like call to action or something that Beaver builder requires. Having a website that I can’t edit is a nuisance. Please help

    Hey Udley,

    Thanks for posting! Our plugin is a standalone plugin, i.e., it doesn’t require any other plugins before it starts working. Can you try reinstalling the plugin and see if that helps? Also, can you share the URL of the site in question so we can check even if it’s just the frontend? 🙂

    Can I uninstall Beaver page builder plugin and then reinstall without losing all the text and layout??

    My website is https://eastleighcomputerrepairs.co.uk I am using Beaver page builder on 3 other WordPress websites without any issues.

    I started getting a strange issue on this site around 6 weeks ago when I could only use page builder on a Mac as it would not edit on a Windows PC (strange I know). It started working ok on both Windows and Mac around 2 weeks ago but since 3 days ago it will not work on Mac or Windows. If you click anywhere on the page builder screen nothing happens.

    I think I have a very strange anomaly somehow?

    I have just uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled but I still have the same issue unfortunately.

    I turned off the following 2 plugins and Beaver Builder works again.

    Merge + Minify + Refresh

    WP deferred javaScript

    Can anyone advice on a compatible plugin that works with beaver page builder??

    Hey Udley,

    For caching plugins, we’d recommend either Zen Cache, or WP Rocket.
