The bounce rate shows that somebody who has visited on your webpage and then clicked back instead of exploring more. This keeps on informing the search engines that the content is been delivered doesn’t have been a good match for what the user they are searching for.

Bounce rate is measured as number of people leaving your website from the first page itself by either using back button or closing it. You can measure this using available analytics programs. One I can suggest is https://wordpress.org/plugins/gostats-for-wordpress/
