Remove from stock before order completed

    Hello! I’m using Woo and I have an specific stock situation.

    In Brazil, we have a kind of payment that may take several days to go from processing to completed. In the mean time, other people can buy the same product, specially if we have low stocks, such as only 1 or 2 products.

    As I understand, stock is managed only after payment is completed. Is there a way to hold stock to wait for those several days before completion?

    The function “hold stock” in Inventory does not work in this case. It only works if 2 people try to buy them at the same time, but, after you finish the order, the stock is freed.

    Does anyone can help with this? I’ve been trying a solution for months but with no success!

    Make sure the order is put ‘on hold’. Then the stock is accounted for.

    Hello, Mike. How can I do that?

    I used the feature “held stock”, but it doesn’t work in this situation I described.

    Thats not what I’m talking about. The gateway you’re using needs to set the order status to on-hold. I don’t know what gateway you’re using.
