using s2member replacement codes elsewhere

Hello

I am using s2members and for my special redirection url I am using one of their offered replacement codes which looks something like this: http://www.example.com/%%current_user_login%%-account-page

My question is:

How do I create a link outside of s2members that will have the same function.

I would like users to be redirected to their account pages when they click this link. I have tried using the s2members replacement code in a normal link and it will come up with bad request. I’m assuming these replacement codes only work directly through s2members.

Any help is much appreciated!
